The Amirat top is a square-edged melamine top. It has a matte finish and the edge of the tray is a gold imitation aluminum sheet.

The Pelissanne tray is also a melamine tray, but with rounded edges. It has a high-gloss finish and a higher-gloss edge, also in gold.

The quality of the trays is equivalent, it's mainly a question of preference.
